Position: Senior Plant Accountant
About: Canam Steel Corp (CSC) is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced individual to join their team as a Financial Accountant. The company focuses on manufacturing steel products and is located at 22253 West Southern Avenue, Buckeye, Arizona 85326, United States. The Financial Accountant will play a crucial role in analyzing financial information, preparing accurate reports, and maintaining accounting control procedures in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting preferred, or degree in Finance plus experience; Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred; Minimum of 5 years of previous general ledger accounting experience, specifically in the manufacturing industry; Knowledge of accepted accounting practices and principles, economic principles, applicable laws, codes, and regulations; Effective analytical skills, communication skills, and ability to multi-task in a deadline-driven environment; Proficiency in financial systems, budgets, financial reporting, and financial data analysis; Computer skills including Microsoft D365, SAP modern ERP systems, MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; Occasional domestic travel may be required
