Position: Senior Operations Supervisor

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from an accredited college or university; DOT training with appropriate agencies; 3 to 6 years of relevant work experience in warehouse and transportation operations, including inventory, shipping, and receiving; knowledge of shipping and receiving concepts and techniques (expert), relevant safety policies, practices, and procedures (expert), transportation concepts and procedures (journey), transportation and logistics principles (journey), DOT regulations, policies, and procedures (journey), supervisory concepts and techniques (journey), PC word processing/spreadsheet software (journey), inventory control concepts and techniques (basic), labor contracts, and labor union environment (basic); ability to supervise and motivate employees, interpret transportation and warehouse anomalies, communicate effectively with employees verbally and in writing, read and process written information accurately, work effectively in a business environment with a focus on quality and customer service, travel via airplane and drive, act in accordance with company values and creed
