Position: Senior Merchandising Manager – Fresh Category

Requirements: BA/BS degree or prior category management equivalent experience; Fresh and Perishable product knowledge and merchandising background preferred; Strong PC skills (preferred Microsoft Office knowledge) Working knowledge of internal Albertsons systems a plus; Strong analytical skills with the ability to solve business problems; Project Management Skills; Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload; Team oriented with excellent time management and organizational skills; Ability to interface and build relationships with key decision-makers; Excellent communication skills (both verbal & written); Customer service oriented with ability to maintain positive attitude in all situations; Must possess and demonstrate a strong sense of urgency, energy, and be very detail oriented; Sterling integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality; Ability to view the changing dynamics of the grocery industry and seek out opportunities for synergy and integration within different areas of the business; Change Agent; TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: 10%
