Position: Senior Manager, Event Production
About: The National Multiple Sclerosis Society is dedicated to mobilizing people and resources to drive research for a cure and address the challenges faced by those affected by MS. The Society funds cutting-edge research, advocates for change, provides professional education, collaborates with MS organizations globally, and offers programs and services to support individuals and families affected by MS. They work closely with volunteers to achieve their mission through effective communication and meaningful opportunities for growth and learning.
Requirements: Bachelor of Arts or Science preferably in Business, Hospitality, or related field; Experience and prior management considered in lieu of degree; At least 5 years of related experience with some previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred; Non-profit experience or equivalent preferred; Demonstrated planning and implementation experience to drive measurable results and focus resources for a positive and safe event experience; Strong initiative to manage multiple projects and priorities, motivate staff and volunteers, and deliver organizational initiatives effectively; Excellent written and oral communication skills with strong interpersonal skills; Commitment to the mission, vision, and cultural values of the National MS Society; Valid driver’s license, proof of insurance, and reliable transportation required; Availability to work occasional nights and weekends for events and meetings; Experience with logistical mapping and event diagram software a plus
