Position: Senior Events Manager
About: The Senior Events Manager position at Santa Anita Park involves pro-active business development efforts, event documentation preparation, coordination with various departments, vendors, and clients to ensure top-notch service before, during, and after events. This role specializes in managing complex events and collaborates closely with the Senior Director of Events Sales and Associate Director of Events to fulfill client needs and deliver exceptional events. The focus is on food and beverage coordination, event space management, parking, security, and overall event service excellence.
Requirements: High school diploma or GED; minimum 5 years’ experience in a high-volume 4-star service role from a convention center or hotel; detail-oriented with high energy, teamwork, motivation, adaptability, and customer-centric focus; ability to work flexible hours including weekends and shifts based on event requirements. Must have excellent communication skills, be proficient in Delphi and Microsoft Office suite, specifically Excel, Word, and Outlook.
