Position: Senior Events Manager
About: Falls Church Marriott Fairview Park in Falls Church, Virginia is looking for a detail-oriented individual to join their team as an Event Management professional. This position involves coordinating with various departments and customers to ensure exceptional service for property events, including pre-event, event, and post-event phases. The role requires managing complex events and maximizing revenue through up-selling and enhancements, while supporting the Event Management director when needed.
Requirements: High school diploma or GED; 2 years experience in event management or related professional area. OR 2-year degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related field; no work experience required. Strong problem-solving skills, ability to lead meetings, manage budgets, oversee customer experiences, and adhere to standards and procedures.
