Position: Senior Event Services Manager
About: Responsible for the planning, organizing, and monitoring of activities for our Orlando preferred properties, focusing on the delegation of account assignments and enforcing standards/procedures that result in projects being on-time, within budget, and to the client’s complete satisfaction regarding our Electrical, Cleaning, and Tradeshow business. It also entails full cycle management of all the team throughout the preferred properties as well as assisting the General Manager with department-wide initiatives.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or other business-related field preferred; minimum 5 years’ experience in a supervisory role or equivalent; prior supervisory or management experience preferred. Must demonstrate the ability to lead people and get results through others; experience in employee training, mentoring, and development; experience in the hotel, convention, and trade show industry preferred; ability to communicate customer-focused concepts within and outside the department; ability to manage multiple concurrent projects; excellent communication skills, demonstrated ability to reach people through highly developed verbal and oral skills; solid organizational and time management skills; analytical and problem-solving skills; labor management experience
