Position: Senior Event Planner
About: Baird, a company committed to providing exceptional client service, is seeking an energetic individual to join their Conference Services team as a Senior Event Planner. The individual will play a key role in meeting and event planning logistics, executing strategy, and collaborating effectively with internal and external clients.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (Marketing, Business, or Communications preferred); Financial and/or corporate event experience highly preferred; 7+ years of experience; expertise in event technology and advanced logistics; comfortable using Instisel and Excel for event statistics; strong commitment to provide excellent customer service; experience with senior leadership and executives required; able to excel in a fast-paced environment; computer/technology skills including Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook, Event Planning programs, and audio-visual equipment; maintain professional demeanor and communication in high-stress situations; problem-solving and interpersonal skills in high-pressure situations; excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize daily workflow effectively; Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) designation preferred.
Benefits: Competitive annual salary range of $75,000 – $100,000, Bonus potential up to 20% of base salary, Compensation and bonus commensurate with experience, performance and/or firm profitability
