Position: Senior Cook, PRN (Days)
About: At Houston Methodist Willowbrook Hospital, the Sr Cook position is responsible for the preparation and cooking of entrees, side dishes, and specialty products for various hospital functions and catered events. Requirements: High School diploma or equivalent education preferred; Two years of food service/large quantity cooking experience in healthcare or hotel setting; Food Handlers Permit certification required; ServSafe certification preferred; Demonstrated skills in kitchen equipment use, safety, and sanitation; Strong knowledge of buffet receptions, upscale plated menu items, and volume batch cooking; Familiarity with fundamental cooking techniques
