Position: Senior Cook Full-time (1st Shift/Days)
About: Houston Methodist West Hospital, located in West Houston, Katy, and surrounding communities, is seeking a Senior Cook to join their team. The Senior Cook is responsible for preparing and cooking entrees, side dishes, and specialty products for various hospital functions while upholding food and nutrition service standards. This role includes catering for special events like physician dinners and maintaining quality production to support patient needs and other dining areas within the hospital.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent education preferred; two years of food service or large quantity cooking experience in a healthcare or hotel setting; holds a Food Handlers Permit approved by the Texas Department of State Health Services (TXDSHS) or by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI)
