Position: Senior Civil Engineering Project Manager

Requirements: 12+ years of experience as a Transportation Engineer in a consulting environment or public entity; 5+ years as a Project Manager; 3+ years managing staff; Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering; Professional Engineering (P.E.) license or TE (Traffic Engineer) licensure; Experience in, and knowledge of, the field of active, non-motorized transportation; Demonstrated understanding of and experience in preparing Plans, Specifications and Estimates packages for roadway projects and project management principles, methods, and techniques; Ability to guide staff members, manage internal team expectations, and enhance Alta’s position in the marketplace; Ability to manage multiple projects within budgetary and schedule constraints; Willingness to travel; Excellent professional ethics, leadership skills, accountability, decision-making capabilities, and presentation skills; Working knowledge of MS Excel, Word, MS Project or equivalent, AutoCAD or MicroStation; Proficiency in enterprise-wide resource planning and project management tools.
