Position: Senior Catering and Convention Services Manager (Caesars Palace LV)
About: A Sr C/CSM is our most highly proficient C/CSM. They manage themselves and their groups with deeper understanding than an entry-level C/CSM. This person is responsible for the overall success of assigned conventions and events, ensuring all contractual agreements are fulfilled and maintaining positive relationships with clients and support departments. The role involves coordinating with various hotel departments to meet clients’ needs and drive revenue through upselling and promoting preferred vendors.
Requirements: Must have a minimum of 4 years’ experience in the hotel industry and 2 years convention services experience in a comparable hotel or event facility; Minimum of two years of college-level courses with an emphasis on business or communications required; Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or Communications preferred; Math and analytical skills necessary for financial and space utilization calculations; Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Delphi FDC, LMS or other hotel operating systems, Internet, and Meeting Matrix; Knowledge of hotel industry practices, safety regulations, and ability to communicate effectively in English; Ability to perform job functions accurately and safely with minimal supervision; Any education, training, or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
