Position: Security Event Coordinator
About: Olympia Entertainment is seeking a dedicated Security Event Coordinator to assist in the security management of events across various Ilitch Sports + Entertainment venues including Little Caesars Arena, Comerica Park, Fox Theatre, Pine Knob Music Theatre, Michigan Lottery Amphitheatre, and Meadowbrook Amphitheatre. This role involves ensuring high-quality security service for both internal and external guests through maintaining standards, presentation, and professionalism. The Security Event Coordinator will be responsible for event planning, pre-event preparedness, managing event-related data, and supporting Event Security Managers in various event activities.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in security management or criminal justice preferred; minimum of two (2) years of experience in security and safety, public or private sector security, and event management; ability to travel throughout metro Detroit; strong management and training ability; excellent written, oral, and interpersonal skills; valid operator’s license and clean driving record; willingness to work evenings and weekends; must pass a criminal background check in accordance with company policy
