Position: Second Cook
About: Warner Bros. Studio Operations seeks a 2nd Cook for the Food Services department. Duties include preparing, cooking, and serving food for the Food Services department at the Commissary and Special Events. 2nd Cooks assist at stations in the Commissary.
Requirements: Must have 2 to 5 years cooking experience in a high-volume banquet facility, hotel/conference center, or fine dining restaurant, with a demonstrated ability to prep a grill, sauté, cook, and prepare sauces in a fast-paced environment; A valid ServSAFE Food Handling Certificate is required; Must have good verbal communication skills; Ability to work a flexible schedule that may include working beyond the standard shift of approximately 8 hours per day, working some weekends and holidays may be required. Standard shift is approximately 8 hours per day, plus a 30-minute paid meal break, with a minimum of 6 hours worked; Physical exertion requiring standing for long periods, walking, bending, lifting, carrying, cleaning kitchen equipment, and maneuvering heavy weights up to 50+ lbs.
