Position: Seasonal Special Events Support
About: The City of Evanston is seeking a Seasonal Special Event Support staff member to join the Parks and Recreation team. This position involves assisting and supporting special events such as concerts, festivals, and community events in various locations around Evanston. The role requires creative thinking, adaptability, and a passion for outdoor programming.
Requirements: High school diploma, GED, or higher; ability and willingness to drive a city vehicle; possession of a state driver’s license; ability to work nights, weekends, and some holidays; establish effective working relationships; provide excellent customer service; physically able to perform manual labor, lift heavy objects, and work in various weather conditions
