Position: Seasonal Conservation Steward- Eastern NY

Requirements: High school diploma or GED and 1 year of related experience in land management or training in a science-related field; Experience operating various types of equipment safely; Experience recognizing plant and animal species; Must be able to obtain relevant licenses or certifications as required. Desired qualifications include 1-2 years’ experience in land management, knowledge of local ecology, experience in data collection, chainsaw operation, a valid driver’s license, ability to perform physically demanding work, organizational skills, familiarity with PCs and mobile devices, and multi-lingual or cross-cultural experience.
