Requirements: Proven experience in safe and sanitary food preparation in accordance with Colorado’s county health department regulations; Ability to produce and serve pleasing, appetizing, and nutritious meals on time based on a set service schedule; Kitchen management experience, including supervision and guidance of kitchen assistant(s); Strong skills in inventory management and cost controls; Ability to manage food service and catering operations using ServSafe food handling method; Knowledge of dietary requirements and experience producing alternative options with similar nutritional content and proportions; High school diploma/GED; Previous experience in educational or institutional, commercial food preparation; Formal Culinary program training, desirable
