Position: School Baker – Kailua Elementary
About: The Hawaii State Department of Education is seeking a School Baker for a full-time position, offering a salary range of $4,883.00 per month. The selected candidate will be responsible for coordinating and preparing baked goods and ensuring timely delivery. This role requires hands-on experience in baking various goods from scratch in large quantities.
Requirements: Education Requirement: Graduation from high school or equivalent. Experience Requirements: Six (6) months of general work experience in a kitchen setting plus one (1) year of specialized experience as a baker in a food service environment. Substitutions Allowed: Possession of an associate’s degree in a food service/culinary arts program may substitute for required experience. Quality of Experience: Demonstrated ability to perform quantity baking duties required for the school food services program.
