Position: SBN – Chief Baker
About: Holland America Line & Seabourn, seeking a Chief Baker for their Galley department on a Global location, responsible for directing and overseeing the preparation of bakery products for guests and crew onboard.
Requirements: 5+ years’ experience in a 5 star hotel, cruise ship, or high-profile restaurant in a similar position; 3+ years’ experience in a supervisory role, preferably in a multi-national setting; experience in high-volume operations of at least 500 meals per service; certification from an accredited advanced food safety program; extensive knowledge in VSP preferred; extensive kitchen machinery and knife safety knowledge; ability to read, write, and speak English effectively; preferred: degree from an accredited culinary college or university bakery program
