Position: SBHC Coordinator
About: Cornell Scott-Hill Health Center is seeking to hire three full-time School Based Health Coordinators (SBHC’s) for school clinics at Helen Street, King Robinson, and Lincoln Bassett. The SBHC Coordinator will be responsible for various duties, including greeting patients, scheduling appointments, maintaining patient records, and assisting clinical providers during exams. This role also involves ensuring the SBHC is well-equipped for operations and providing support to patients and families during clinical visits.
Requirements: High school diploma/GED required; diploma from accredited Medical Assistant or Certified Nursing Assistant program; Phlebotomy Certification from National Phlebotomy Association or National Healthcare Association preferred, current CPR certification from the American Heart Association required; bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred; one year experience as a Medical Assistant or Certified Nursing Assistant required; excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills; computer and data entry skills, familiarity with Microsoft, Internet, and E-mail necessary; ability to float to other departments or sites and perform all aspects of patient care.
