Position: Sautee Cook
About: Tuscany Cafe at HMSHost in Chicago O’Hare International Airport is seeking a Sautee Cook to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing sautés and performing various kitchen tasks to ensure high-quality food service for customers and associates. This non-exempt position reports to the Store Manager, Assistant Store Manager, or General Manager based on local requirements.
Requirements: Requires food preparation skills and knowledge of HACCP standards; minimum of 1 year of closely related cooking experience preferred; food knowledge pertaining to soups, sauté, broiler, fry, and pantry; ability to lift and/or move up to 40 lbs; ability to bend, twist, and stand to perform job functions; comfortable working with sharp knives, utensils, and hot plates; able to work in a hot environment
