Position: Sanitation Supervisor
About: Tandem Foods, a food manufacturing facility, is seeking a Sanitation Supervisor to oversee the cleanliness and hygiene of the production facility environment, equipment, and warehouse. This role is crucial in maintaining food safety standards, preventing contamination, ensuring product quality, and meeting regulatory requirements.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in food science, microbiology, environmental health, or related field, or equivalent work experience; minimum 3 years of experience in sanitation management in the food manufacturing industry; strong knowledge of food safety standards including HACCP, FSMA, and GMP; proven leadership and team management skills; excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities; proficiency in Microsoft Office and sanitation management software; ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends; familiarity with working in a manufacturing environment with physical demands; knowledge and use of personal protective equipment (PPE) during sanitation activities.
