Position: Sanitation Manager
About: The Sanitation Manager is responsible for overseeing and maintaining all safety, quality, staffing, and efficiencies of the third shift sanitation operation in a food industry setting. The role involves managing a sanitation department including a sanitation supervisor, crew leaders, and sanitation team members, ensuring compliance with company safety guidelines, and maintaining cleanliness standards according to USDA regulations.
Requirements: 5 years sanitation supervisory experience with a food industry background and familiarity with USDA and OSHA; strong leadership qualities, responsibility, dependability, and organization; lockout/tagout, HACCP, GMP, and safety certifications; knowledge of BRC or Global Standards Training compliance, documentation, and reporting; ability to work in a refrigerated environment
