Position: Sales Representative (Countertop)
About: MSI, a leading supplier of flooring tile, countertops, wall and backsplash tile, and hardscaping surfaces products in North America, is seeking a Sales Representative to grow and develop sales and margins of its countertop products within an assigned geographic territory. The role involves developing customer relationships, providing product knowledge and training, managing displays, analyzing sales reports, and attending trade shows.
Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree required; Two (2)+ years of experience in channel distribution sales; Minimum of 2 years of related industry experience in natural stone, slab, or hard flooring industries; Minimum 2 years of outside B2B sales experience; Strong math skills; Ability to determine solutions for customers; Results-oriented and able to work independently or within a team; Intermediate computer proficiency; Valid driver’s license; Willingness to travel up to 75%; Industry experience highly preferred, especially in Countertop, Distribution, and Building Materials Sales; Excellent sales and negotiation skills; Good communication and people skills; Organizational and time management skills; Ability to work well alone or within a team; Demonstrated problem-solving aptitude; Resilience to handle customer rejections; Bilingual in Spanish a plus
