Position: Sales Consultant
About: Sysco Specialty Meat Group (SSMG) is seeking a Sales Representative to achieve maximum sales profitability, growth, and account penetration in an assigned territory by promoting and selling the company’s products. The role involves establishing relationships with customers, making presentations, taking orders, and reacting promptly to customer needs and issues. The Sales Representative will also analyze sales reports, stay informed about market trends, and participate in training and customer events organized by SSMG.
Requirements: High school diploma; Preferred: 4-year degree in culinary arts, business, marketing, agriculture/animal science or related studies; 2 years of prior food service and/or sales experience strongly preferred. Deep expertise in meat and seafood category or culinary background; Consultative sales ability; Self-motivated with strong time management skills; Excellent customer relations and computer skills.
