Position: Safety and Security Coordinator
About: The Safety and Security Coordinator at French International School of Oregon is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing safety protocols to ensure a safe environment for students, staff, and visitors. This role will oversee all aspects of campus security, emergency preparedness, and safety education, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
Requirements: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Emergency Management, Public Safety, or related field; Experience: Minimum of 3 years in a safety/security management role, preferably in an educational setting; Certifications: Oregon DPSST Certification, OSHA Certification, or equivalent safety/security certifications preferred; Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and security management software; Experience with CCTV, access control, and communication systems; Soft Skills: Excellent communication and leadership abilities, problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure
