Position: Room Service Server (AM Shifts – Full Time) – InterContinental Houston
About: InterContinental Hotels & Resorts is looking for a Room Service Server to deliver food & beverage orders to guest rooms and assist in maintaining the room service area and equipment. Requirements: Basic reading, writing and math skills and food service experience with general knowledge of restaurant operations; Carrying or lifting items weighing up to 50 pounds; Moving about the kitchen; Handling food objects, products and utensils; Bending, stooping, kneeling; Communication skills used when interacting with guests, cooks, and supervisors; Alcohol awareness certification and/or food service permit or valid health/food handler card; Reading and writing abilities for taking orders and paperwork; Basic math skills for handling cash and credit; Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
