Position: Room Attendant
About: Sonesta International Hotels Corporation is seeking a Room Attendant (RA) to work with the Housekeeping Management Team in cleaning guest rooms and public spaces, maintaining high standards to ensure total guest satisfaction. Duties include delivering excellent guest service, responding to complaints and special requests, cleaning and servicing rooms, and assisting with laundry tasks as needed. The ideal candidate will have previous housekeeping experience, be able to communicate effectively in English, and have the physical ability to perform housekeeping duties. This position may require working mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Requirements: Some previous housekeeping experience preferred; Previous background from the extended stay industry preferred; Ability to speak, read, and write fluent English is preferred; Basic reading, writing, and mathematical abilities are preferred; Frequently standing up, bending, climbing, kneeling, and moving about the facility; Carrying, lifting, or pulling items weighing up to 75 pounds; Will be required to regularly use commercial cleaning chemicals; Will be required to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
