Position: RN – Weekend Supervisor/Wound Care Nurse
About: St. James House is accepting applications for a RN- Weekend Supervisor/Wound Care Nurse. This role involves working with the Nursing Staff of the facility in the absence of the Director of Nursing, particularly on weekends, the Director’s days off, or other shifts. The Supervisor is responsible for planning, organizing, coordinating, and directing nursing functions to ensure the highest quality of care for residents in a cost-effective manner, considering healthcare and legal responsibilities. They assess and follow up on residents’ needs and treatment results, communicate with Licensed Staff, provide education, implement prevention programs, ensure infection control, coordinate treatments, follow care plans, document records, and participate in meetings and in-services.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required; graduate of an accredited school of nursing; currently registered with the state agency for nursing licensure; valid Nurse’s License in the state of employment
