Position: RN – Trauma PI Coordinator
About: The Trauma Performance Improvement (PI) Coordinator at a medical facility, in collaboration with Trauma Acute Care Surgery (TACS) Leadership, is responsible for overseeing the Trauma Performance Improvement and Patient Safety (PIPS) program. The role involves working closely with the Trauma Medical Director, Trauma Program Manager, and Trauma Registrars to ensure compliance with all trauma center requirements related to performance improvement and serving as the designated injury prevention professional.
Requirements: Minimum education required: Graduate of a nursing program; Minimum experience required: 2 years experience in trauma/surgical nursing; Minimum licensure/certification required: Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License; Additional qualifications: BLS required, PALS, ACLS, TNCC, ENPC preferred.
