Position: RN SUPERVISOR SURGICAL SERVICES COORDINATOR
About: This position is for a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room department at a healthcare facility. The role involves providing clinical leadership, supervision of staff, and ensuring quality patient care delivery. The patient care assignment may include various age groups from neonates to geriatric patients. Responsibilities include strategic initiatives, shared governance, independent judgment in assigning staff to patients, educational leadership, delegation, and ensuring adherence to policies and procedures. The role also involves acting as a liaison between various stakeholders, serving as a role model for department personnel, and participating in emergency measures and patient safety protocols. The position requires a program graduate with a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, 2 years of directly related experience, CPR certification, and RN licensure in NM or reciprocal agreement states. The physical demands include heavy work conditions with the need for PPE due to hazardous materials. The position is subject to an annual contract and performance appraisal.
