Position: RN-Specialty Team Coordinator-Pre-op/ PACU
About: Yale New Haven Health is seeking an RN-Specialty Team Coordinator for Pre-op/PACU, responsible for overseeing surgical sub-specialty services and ensuring patient-centered care based on established standards. This role involves developing specialty programs, conducting audits, and providing direct patient care to maintain clinical expertise, with a focus on quality improvement and staff competency in collaboration with the surgical team.
Requirements: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing; Bachelors degree in Nursing preferred; minimum 3-5 years experience in assigned specialty services required; progressive leadership experience desirable; proven track record of success in program development or participation, program implementation in areas of clinical patient care management, staff development, and specialty services materials management; licensed and currently registered nurse in the State of Connecticut; BCLS certification required within one month of hire; ability to meet physical demands including prolonged standing, walking, lifting patients of varying weights
