Position: Risk Control Consultant
About: The Delaware Valley Trusts, located in Horsham, Pennsylvania, is seeking a seasoned risk control professional to assist public entity risk pool members in preventing occupational injuries, illnesses, and property and liability losses through safety, health, and risk management consultation services.
Requirements: Minimum bachelor’s degree in occupational health and safety, industrial hygiene, fire protection, or a related field and five years of related experience; ARM, CSP, CIH, CFPS, CPSI, or CPEA credentials preferred; Ability to obtain and maintain Certified Playground Safety Inspector (CPSI) credential; Ability to qualify as a Pennsylvania Accident and Illness Prevention Service Provider; Working knowledge of health, safety, property protection, and liability risk control practices (OSHA, NFPA, IBC, etc.); Ability to effectively educate adult learners in technical subjects and make effective/interesting presentations; Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills; Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs; Valid driver’s license, vehicle registration, and auto insurance required for offsite visits.
