Position: Retail Cashier Associate – Part-time
About: Big 5 Sporting Goods is looking for an energetic, sports-minded individual to join their customer service team. The available openings require enthusiastic and detail-oriented individuals with solid customer service backgrounds. Cashiers at Big 5 Sporting Goods are responsible for overseeing the front counter POS terminal, cash handling, bagging purchased merchandise, greeting customers, answering phones, directing sales associates, stocking shelves, and maintaining displayed merchandise on the sales floor.
Requirements: Must be 18 years of age or older; possess a High School diploma, GED, High School Equivalency, certificated equivalent, or relevant experience; have basic organizational and math skills; undergo E-Verify upon accepting the position; be able to perform light to moderate lifting; have effective interactive and communicative skills.
