Position: RESTAURANT SUPERVISOR

About: The Watermark Baton Rouge, located in beautiful downtown, is looking for a full-time Outlet (Restaurant) Supervisor to oversee the service in the Food and Beverage Outlets, reporting to the Director of Food & Beverage. The position involves assisting with training, motivating, and coaching staff, as well as monitoring expenses and controlling labor costs in either The Gregory, an upscale restaurant offering Southern cuisine, or Milford’s on Third, a New York City style deli with Southern-charmed selections.

Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required; Some college coursework preferred; At least one year of progressive experience in a hotel or related field required, with previous supervisory responsibility preferred; Clear communication and ability to evaluate and choose among alternative courses of action quickly, especially in high-pressure situations; Ability to understand and work with financial information, data, and basic arithmetic functions; Quality control of menus regarding cleanliness and appearance; Assist in the outlets when necessary.
