About: Part Time Restaurant/Banquet Server position available at Columbia Club, Inc. Responsible for providing food and beverage service to club members and guests in a fast-paced and sometimes stressful environment.
Requirements: Ability to effectively learn to use a Point of Sale System; Ability to suggestively sell items and answer questions; Maintain cleanliness of the dining areas; Verify prices and accuracy of checks and process payments; Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions; Ability to print and speak simple phrases and sentences; Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to guests and other employees of the organization; Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
