Position: Restaurant Manager job
About: Responsible for managing the daily operations of a restaurant, including staff selection, development, and performance management. Oversees inventory, optimizes profits, and ensures guest satisfaction. Supervises food quality, service standards, cleanliness, and safety regulations adherence. Coordinates scheduling, maintains proper image, and leads events and initiatives. Ensures compliance with food safety standards, high-quality food service, and cost control. Monitors financial performance, budget adherence, and administrative duties completion. Provides employee direction, hires, trains, and develops staff. Requires 1-3 years of management-level hospitality experience or 6 months as a Shift Supervisor at Benihana, high school diploma or GED equivalent, proficiency in food planning, and ServSafe alcohol service certification preferred.
Requirements: One to three years of management-level hospitality and/or restaurant work experience required; high school diploma or GED equivalent preferred; proficiency in food planning and preparation, purchasing, sanitation, security, personnel management, recordkeeping, and report preparation; previous experience in a teppanyaki-style restaurant preferred; knowledge of computers (MS Word, Excel); valid driver’s license where applicable; eligibility to work in the United States; agreement to background check; ServSafe certified alcohol service certified preferred
