Position: Restaurant Manager job
About: Goodwood Restaurant & Brewery is seeking a dedicated Restaurant Manager to join their team. The manager will be responsible for interviewing, selecting, training, supervising, counseling, and disciplining staff. They will also institute ongoing training programs to ensure the highest quality service standards, maintain rapport with all departments, and attend relevant meetings. Monitoring and ensuring food quality and service standards, guiding improvements, maintaining profitability, controlling payroll and equipment costs, evaluating cost-effectiveness, and implementing cost-saving measures are key responsibilities.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required; previous experience as a Restaurant Manager preferred; strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills; ability to analyze financial data and implement cost-saving measures; knowledge of food safety regulations
