About: Velvet Taco is a temple to the liberated taco, a one-of-a-kind taco concept serving a chef-driven menu in a unique and funky fast-casual setting. Founded on the idea that tacos don’t have to be associated with Tex-Mex cuisine, Velvet Taco uses only the freshest ingredients available to offer a menu that explores the edge of multi-cultural boundaries. They slow roast their own chicken and corn, use lots of booze in their margaritas, and make everything from scratch, resulting in food that tastes exceptional.
Requirements: Must be over 21 years of age; At least 1 year of recent full-service or fast-casual restaurant, hospitality, or food service experience; Food Handlers Certification/Alcoholic Beverage Servers Certification (TABC/Title 4 Training); Understanding of food and equipment safety and sanitation regulations; Strong sense of urgency and ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment; Results driven and team oriented
