Position: Restaurant Barback (PT)
About: Loews Chicago O’Hare Hotel is an upscale hotel located between Downtown Chicago and O’Hare Airport, offering luxurious amenities, upscale accommodations, and a rotating art gallery showcasing local artists. The hotel provides a unique O’Hare Oasis experience for guests.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent; one+ years of experience as a Barback in a high-volume, upscale hotel or free-standing lounge environments; basic knowledge of Wine & Spirits and food; certifications: Certified Food Service Manager, TIPS or equivalent; ability to stand, stoop, bend and lift items weighing up to 50 pounds repetitively during an entire shift; effective leadership, management, organizational and communication skills; exceptional guest service skills; ability to speak, read, and write the English language; ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
