Position: Rest Area Attendant
About: The Rest Area Attendant position involves maintaining rest areas to meet or exceed the standards set forth by TDOT, performing necessary paperwork accurately, and ensuring a clean and sanitary environment for visitors. The position requires compliance with contract requirements, attending training sessions, and reporting any necessary repairs to the Rest Area Supervisor. Additionally, the role involves grounds maintenance tasks such as cleaning, landscaping, and trash collection to uphold the quality standards of the rest areas. The position aims to promote a positive work environment and safety practices for staff and visitors.
Requirements: High school diploma or GED; ability to work with minimal supervision; physical and mental alertness to perform contract requirements and duties; previous maintenance experience preferred, but not required; maintain current DIDS training requirements
