Position: Residential Youth Caregiver – Relocation to Hershey, PA Required
About: Milton Hershey School (MHS) is a prestigious private school offering a career-focused education to students from pre-K through 12th grade, particularly those from disadvantaged backgrounds. Founded in 1909 by Milton and Catherine Hershey, MHS provides students with housing, meals, and full financial support. The school is currently seeking married couples to serve as flex houseparents, residing in on-campus student homes and providing guidance and support to a small group of students.
Requirements: Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably in under-served settings; must be a two-person job for couples married for at least two years; both spouses should be 27 years or older; no more than three dependent children allowed in the student home; must have a smoke-free and weapon-free lifestyle, with no alcohol permitted while on duty; limited pet policy allowing only fish and one approved breed of dog; valid driver’s license and ability to drive student home vans; comfortable leading daily devotions and attending Sunday chapel services; high school diploma or GED required; ability to lift up to 50 lbs; must demonstrate high integrity and be a positive role model for students; both spouses must complete an individual employment application.
