Position: Residential Youth Caregiver – Relocation to Hershey, PA Required
About: Milton Hershey School (MHS) is a renowned private school offering career-focused education and support to students from pre-K through 12th grade, particularly those from disadvantaged backgrounds. Founded in 1909 by Milton and Catherine Hershey, the school is fully endowed, providing students and staff with essential resources for success. MHS is currently seeking married couples to serve as Flex Houseparents, residing in on-campus student homes to provide guidance and care for groups of 8-12 students, fostering a family-like environment and handling various responsibilities.
Requirements: Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably in under-served settings; legally married for at least two years; both spouses aged 27 or older; limit of three dependent children in the student home; adhere to campus rules including no smoking, weapons, or alcohol on duty; limited pet policy; valid driver’s license; ability to drive student home vans; comfortable leading student devotions and attending Sunday chapel services; high school diploma or GED; able to lift up to 50 lbs; demonstrate high integrity as role models for students; both spouses must complete individual employment applications.
