Position: Residential Youth Caregiver – Relocation to Hershey, PA Required
About: Milton Hershey School (MHS) is a renowned private school providing exceptional education and support to students from disadvantaged backgrounds in pre-K through 12th grade. Founded in 1909 by Milton and Catherine Hershey, the school offers a fully endowed program where all costs are covered for students and staff to thrive. MHS is currently seeking married couples to join as flex houseparents, residing on-campus to guide and nurture groups of students in a family-like structure.
Requirements: Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings; must be legally married for at least two years; both spouses should be age 27 or older; high school diploma or equivalent required; ability to lift up to 50 lbs; valid driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans; comfortable leading students in daily devotions and taking them to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services; smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted on duty; limitations on pets with only fish and one approved breed of dog allowed; both spouses must complete individual employment applications; must demonstrate high integrity as role models for students
