Position: Residential Youth Caregiver – Relocation to Hershey, PA Required
About: Milton Hershey School (MHS) is a renowned private educational institution offering pre-K through 12th-grade education to students from disadvantaged backgrounds. The school, established in 1909 by Milton and Catherine Hershey, is fully endowed, providing students with housing, meals, and a comprehensive education at no cost. MHS is currently seeking married couples to work as flex houseparents, residing in on-campus student homes to provide guidance and support to groups of 8-12 students, creating a family-like environment.
Requirements: Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings; a two-person job for legally married couples with a minimum of two years of marriage and both spouses aged 27 or older; no more than three dependent children in the student home; adherence to campus rules including smoke-free, weapon-free policy, no alcohol on duty, and limitations on pets; valid driver’s license, ability to drive student home vans; comfort with leading students in daily devotions and attending Sunday chapel services; high school diploma or GED; ability to lift up to 50 lbs; demonstration of integrity and role-model behavior; both spouses must complete individual employment applications.
