Position: Residential Youth Caregiver – Relocation to Hershey, PA Required
About: Milton Hershey School (MHS) is a renowned private school offering exceptional career-focused education and support to students in pre-K through 12th grade from disadvantaged backgrounds. Founded in 1909 by Milton and Catherine Hershey, the school provides a fully endowed environment for students and staff to thrive. MHS is currently seeking married couples to serve as flex houseparents, residing in on-campus student homes to provide guidance and support to groups of students.
Requirements: Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably in under-served settings; this is a two-person job for legally married couples with at least two years of marriage, both spouses aged 27 or older; no more than three dependent children may reside in the student home; abide by campus regulations including smoke-free, weapon-free policy, and no alcohol on duty; limitations on pets with only fish and one approved dog breed permitted; valid driver’s license and ability to drive student home vans; comfortable leading students in daily devotions and attending Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services without proselytizing; high school diploma or GED required; ability to lift up to 50 lbs; demonstrate a high degree of integrity as role models for students; both spouses must complete individual employment applications.
