Position: Residential Youth Caregiver – Relocation to Hershey, PA Required
About: Milton Hershey School (MHS) is a renowned private educational institution offering a career-focused education to students from pre-K through 12th grade from underprivileged backgrounds. Founded in 1909 by Milton and Catherine Hershey, the school provides housing, meals, and comprehensive support to both students and staff to ensure a thriving environment. MHS is currently seeking married couples to join as flex houseparents, residing in on-campus student homes and providing guidance and care to a group of approximately 8-12 students, offering a family-like structure and various responsibilities.
Requirements: Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings; must be a legally married couple for at least two years; both spouses aged 27 or older; limit of three dependent children in the student home; smoke-free and weapon-free campus policy; valid driver’s license and ability to drive student home vans; comfortable leading students in daily devotions and to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services; high school diploma or GED; ability to lift up to 50 lbs; demonstrate high integrity as role models for students; both spouses must complete individual employment applications.
