Position: Residential Youth Caregiver – Relocation to Hershey, PA Required
About: Milton Hershey School (MHS) is a renowned private school offering exceptional education and support to students from pre-K through 12th grade, particularly those from disadvantaged backgrounds. Founded in 1909 by Milton and Catherine Hershey, MHS is fully endowed to provide all necessary resources for student and staff success. MHS is currently seeking married couples to join as flex houseparents, residing in on-campus student homes to nurture and guide groups of students.
Requirements: Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings; this is a two-person job for couples who have been legally married for at least two years; both spouses should be age 27 or older; no more than three dependent children may reside in the student home; abide by campus regulations including being smoke-free, weapon-free, and alcohol-free while on duty; limitations on pets, with only fish and one approved breed dog allowed; valid driver’s license and ability to drive student home vans; comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Sunday chapel services; high school diploma or GED required; ability to lift up to 50 lbs; demonstrate high integrity as role models for students; both spouses must complete individual employment applications.
