Position: Residential Youth Caregiver – Relocation to Hershey, PA Required
About: Milton Hershey School (MHS) is renowned for providing an exceptional career-focused education, including housing and meals, to students from disadvantaged backgrounds in pre-K through 12th grade. Founded in 1909 by Milton and Catherine Hershey, the school is fully endowed, ensuring a thriving environment for students and staff alike. MHS is currently seeking married couples to join as Flex Houseparents, residing in on-campus student homes to provide guidance, structure, and support to a group of 8-12 students.
Requirements: Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings; couples must be legally married for at least two years; both spouses aged 27 or older; high school diploma or GED required; ability to lift up to 50 lbs; must demonstrate a high degree of integrity as role models for students; valid driver’s license; comfortable leading students in daily devotions and to Sunday chapel services; no alcohol permitted on duty; smoke-free and weapon-free campus policy; limitations on pets, only fish and one approved breed of dog allowed
