Position: Residential Youth Caregiver – Relocation to Hershey, PA Required
About: Milton Hershey School (MHS) is a renowned private school offering exceptional career-focused education and support to students from pre-K through 12th grade from disadvantaged backgrounds. Founded in 1909 by Milton and Catherine Hershey, the school provides fully endowed resources for students and staff to thrive. MHS is currently seeking married couples to serve as flex houseparents, residing in on-campus student homes and providing nurturing guidance to groups of students.
Requirements: Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings; a two-person job for couples legally married for at least two years; both spouses aged 27 or older; no more than three dependent children in the student home; abide by campus regulations including smoke-free and weapon-free policies, no alcohol on duty, limitations on pets, and participation in campus activities; possess a valid driver’s license and ability to drive student home vans; comfortable leading students in daily devotions and attending Sunday chapel services; high school diploma or GED required; ability to lift up to 50 lbs; demonstrate high integrity as role models for students; both spouses must complete individual employment applications.
